Daka has called it a failure to certified the Serbian List by the CEC “film”, criticising the policy behind it.
The former CEC chairman has said that the CEC is not the proper institution to give thought to whether a group is a terrorist.
This is also policy making. The Serbian list we all know, who they are, how they act and who they were. And that's for days, even the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that's what everyone knows about the security of our country. And they are able to take steps and act in that direction. It's not the CEC that suggests there's no terrorist or not”, she said on RTV Dukajini.
Daka stressed that to declare an organisation as a terrorist, there must be evidence and be sent to the right place.
She has added that the CEC is responsible for Certificateing the candidate lists that will participate in the elections, and that this process is simply a formalisation, as lists must pass all legal filters.
<x0-towns have acted in the case of several terrorist organisations can still be defeated. The law on state security is in force, and under that law it is known when an organisation or a group can be declared terrorist. And if there's data and evidence, they should be sent to the right place.
The CEC, meanwhile, decides the certificate of a list of candidates who will participate in the elections and who have passed all the filters on all institutions. And since the certificate office has issued a recommendation that that that list be certified, it's almost the formalisation of the certificate. Then all of this is just movies. The moment he starts making movies and politics, he loses his reason for it”, Daka added.
While it is noteworthy that the Vetevendosje Movement has filed a complaint with the Supreme Court against the PZAP decision, which ordered the CEC to certified the Serbian List.
The complaint has been handed over by Deputy Justice Minister Blerim Sallah.
PZAP argued that the Serbian List had met all legal criteria for participation in the election.
