Democratic League of Kosovo Chairman Lumir Abdixhiku has unveiled in Pristina the programme for culture and sports.
He said the LDK-led government will make the biggest investment in Kosovo's history in sports.
“is intended to build the New Sport Centre here in Pristina, in Brnica, in which the centre will initially be the new national stadium with a total of 25 thousand to 30,000 seats, worth 100m euros in modern stadiums and the Olympic palace and Olympic swimming pools. We will also build five other regional categories stadiums U n EFA 3 and 4, to meet Kosovo football needs in the country”, Obadiah said.
The LDK leader also said that about 30m euros will be shared for the renovation of current sports gyms, and that the number of physical education hours from two today will rise to four within a week.
He also cited the fact that Kosovo must prepare for the Mediterranean Olympic Games, so the next four years according to him, should be seen as a golden opportunity to modernise the sports infrastructure.
“We have a bold plan, we have big investments, we have transformation projects, that the Kosovo sport will make national pride”, He said.
