The AAK's PDK emphasises that the situation in these companies has resulted from the deployment of people without frameworks to management positions.
Commission Chairman for Economics, Industry, Undersecretary and Trade Ferat Shala has told Economy Online that the situation in public enterprises is due to poor management and the deployment of political frameworks.
The truths, facts and arguments but also the financial and auditing reports of public enterprises reflect the real state of extremes, the mismanagement of Government and policies in relation to public enterprises. None of them have already performed for four years with positive results, as a result of the deployment of completely political frameworks. Unfortunately, a large part of them are still four years from now with duty advisers, without clear policies and support for their financing and revitalisation”, Shala has said of EO.
Shala has cited the situation as the most heavy on Trepca and KEK. For the first one, it has said that it is at risk of “godits” as well as the owner, while the situation at KEK blames Government because of maintaining positions with task officers.
It is now tens of millions of euros in debt, and a portion of it is already being jeopardised by the owner. The extreme case is in the last few days, where finishers have almost blocked Trepca's controls and expect to beat this company financially and badly managed and in a serious economic position. The other concern is that there are already seven days in Kishnica, where Kishnica and Trepca complex are out of electricity and actually out of office and out of work. The same extreme situation outside of institutional management control is the KEK company. All departments and sectors are task makers, completely political frameworks, and in reality are extremely inexplicable in the way of organisation and production, whether in the coal department that is basy as the raw materials for energy, whether in the maintenance area and the vitalisation of the generation capacity at”, Shala has said.
Similar sentiments are shared by Alliance for the Future of Kosovo deputy Pal Lekaj. Like Shala and Lekaj blame Kurti Government for the situation in public enterprises.
“As far as public companies have worked for the four-year-old Kurti Government, I think they've counted the worst days in managing these companies, creating boards, which have been working with taskaries all the time and I can say they're going to be remembered not because they stopped the financial bleeding but they've gone even worse than the management of these companies and I can say most of them are money and they're coming with frauds, they're going through fraud and leaving companies worse than they've been, but they've said,
Lekaj has said that the lack of financial support has brought the Ferrnikelli Trepca into this situation.
You know how many times we've been following demands from Trepca's labour union, Ferronicali, and you know there's a little bit of subsidies or support, but they haven't managed to improve the situation, yet it's going on like it has been, and I think this government acted only when it created the problems for them to solve and it's not done, and I can say no public enterprise has been able to say that this public enterprise for four years has a certain profit or has a positive turn in terms of their functioning, say, Leka.
