While the unions opposed the wage increase, VVA continues to insist that it has paid tribute to sensitive categories in the public sector.
The VV) in the writing calls “klub the self-ex1> opposition, saying that during the time in power they increased wages for themselves, the prosecution and the judiciary for 100% because “aty was of interest to”.
The Soviet Polittic Club talks again about wage increases. But that is not new to them. But what did they do when they were in power? For themselves, the prosecution and the judiciary raised wages for 100%, because they had interest there. Meanwhile, civil servants, for whom they always promised, increased wages only 4%”, their writing says.
“In contrast, the Kurti Government did not promise salary growth, but realised them, creating a legal framework for salaries, cofficients for each position, and reducing the gap between the highest and the lowest pay. The increase in wages now relates to the country's economic development: the more the economy grows, the more salaries” increase, the writing follows.
“Also, the Government made sure that all categories benefit, especially teachers, policemen, nurses, firefighters, soldiers and pensioners. In addition, a broad social programme involving pension increases, additions for Leona mothers, children and other forms of subsidies were implemented that positively influence the welfare of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo”.
We remember that VVA was criticised by unions for not co-ordinating with them after the decision to raise salaries.
