Responding to journalists' questions at a news conference with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala at Serbia's Palace in Belgrade, Vucic noted that Serbia had managed to maintain a good relationship with 78-year-old after the first presidential mandate.
“ (This is) a slightly more favourable situation for us, but there will be no major changes”, he said, write Serbian media.
The Serbian leader stressed that he expected pressure from the US about Serbia's co-operation with China, which he said Washington considered a strategic “on the global stage. ”
We'll be under pressure to lower our level of relations with RP China. This is our assessment; I would like to err on this matter, but I'm afraid I'm not”, he added.
Vuciq added he expected the war in Ukraine to end after winning Trump “I am sure that the US president knows this from the first hand he will offer and seek solutions that will not be easy to find. The question is whether someone in Russia at this time wants the war to end”.
