The tight race between Trump and Harris for the White House begins the first vote

The polling stations start opening between 5: 00 a.m. and several eastern states and the polls will continue throughout the country, including Alaska and Hawaii, until evening hours in countries located in the western United States.
The outcome of this narrow race is not expected to be known for days in several countries like Pennsylvania, where counting votes by mail is a slower process. The exit to the elections is expected to be high, according to the Record Bureau.
On the evening of November 4th, federal election officials warned that in such a tight race, Russia and Iran are intensifying their campaign of influence with the aim of triggering divisions among American voters in order to promote violence against election officials, following a tough campaign.
Trump is racing for the third time after losing the 2020 elections to the current president, Joe Biden, who withdrew from the presidential race in July after polls showed he had had had a poor showing during the debate with Trump and had concerns about his age.
His replacement from the Democrats, Harris, if elected, would become the first woman president of the United States and the first person of origin from South Asia. Trump would become the second president in history to win presidential mandate in a non-in a row. The only president to have done that was Grover Cleveland, in the late 19th century.
Harris, 60, has presented himself as a generation-changer from Benden, 81, and Trump 78.
She has expressed her support for the right to abortion after the Supreme Court's 2022 ruling that ended the constitutional right to abortion. It has also named Trump a threat to democracy and cited his role in the January 6th attack on the U.S. Congress building and refusal to accept the loss of Biden in 2020.
Trump has used his populist calls to convey the message that during the second term it will do more to improve the economy, stem the tide of migrants entering the US and has said it would be more severe against opponents of the state, like China.
