The Assembly began today two day discussions on the 2025 Project.
Lawmakers are expected to vote on the budget in principle at the end of Tuesday, while the opposition has organised protests against adopting the 8 billion-euro budget.
Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha has urged supporters to prevent the adoption of a draft budget, which he calls “theft budget”.
The budget project has been discussed for weeks on parliamentary commissions, where no clashes between opposition members and majority have been missed.
