Switzerland reiterates support for Kosovo's EC membership

The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, has met with the president of the Swiss National Council, Eric Nusbaumer, along with other MPs from the Parliamentary Friendship Group, Kosovo Switzerland.

Kurti said that during the meeting, Kosovo's quick democratic and economic progress in recent years was discussed.

The “Deputes also reiterated Switzerland's clear support for Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe and their hope that the upcoming ratification of the EFTA agreement will serve as a push for a broader effort to boost economic co-operation between our states”, Kurti wrote, broadcast Klaankosova.tv.

The head of the government is standing for an official visit to Switzerland, where he will meet with the Kosovo exile there.
