At today's session, Shukri Buya continues his testimony.
Former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, witness Shukri Buya, during his testimony Monday at The Hague, has stressed that at the time he went to organise the KLA units in his native country they did not know who is in the General Staff and that they did not receive orders from them.
A fragment of the witness's statement in the case against Fatmir Limaj in 2005 was introduced, saying the witness was stationed in the Shhaeme Community to organise the area for Shbimen and Lipjanin, Agim Bajrami has had the responsibility to organise units in Kacanic. For Limaj, however, he had said he was responsible for organising the unit in Malisheva.
According to prosecutor James Pace, witness Bouja had said the <x0juries for guerrilla units were given by General Staff”.
That's correct. I made it clear. We've been awaiting orders from the General Staff, but who is the General Staff we haven't known and we haven't been given any order at that time by General Staff”, Buja has declared.
