Sport Minister Hajrula Ceku reacts: Kosovo state protected last night

The Kosovo National last night was a guest of Romania's in Bucharest.

The match did not have the happy ending for the dardan national, as Kosovo footballers left the field earlier than needed.

This behind racist and anti-Kosovo calls on the steps of the stadium “Arena Nationala”.

After many attempts by judges, the dardan players refused to return to the playing field, and so, the game's top judge, Morten Krogh, concluded the match with only Romania's national in the green field.

Minister of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Hajrula Ceku has reacted to this situation today.

He expressed pride in the Kosovo football players' move, saying the state of Kosovo was protected last night.

The Kosovo state was protected. Racism has no place in sports.

Unacceptable and sad what happened in Bucharest in the match between Kosovo and Romania. Once again, political messages cheered and shouted provocatively by Romanian fans.

We stand behind the Kosovo boys. yesterday's event deeply violates the values of the sport, which should serve for unity and not for inciting hatred and division.

We condemn any form of racism and insults against our country and appeal for measures by international football institutions to protect the integrity of sports events and preserve respect and dignity among states.

We also offer our full support to the Kosovo Football Federation, which has begun preparing a full case of facts and evidence to be handed over to U. EFA-s.”, written Ceku in “Facebook”
