Berat Rukiqi from the Democratic League of Kosovo has unveiled this party's economic plan in detail.
Invited to T7, Rukiqi has said the LDK has made a concrete plan for capital investments, where investments will each year be more than 1.2 billion euros.
“We were very conservative when we made the plan, we initially said economic growth would be 5%, but we very much believe we'll outdo it. With the reviews we've budgeted for our mandate it will reach 5 billion, and this will not be done by tax hikes, but by economic growth, that's a return from economic activity. There will be increased economic activities, creating more jobs and normally those who will pay taxes, circulate more goods and more VAT collections. Within a four-year term, 5 billion euros of investment, so we are calling it a three-thirds five, 5 billion euros in budget, 5% economic growth and 5 billion capital investments. He said Rukiqi.
Rukiqi has stated that there will be not only these 5 billion euros of investments in Kosovo because there will be investment from the private sector.
“Kosovo, its market may be absorption not only 5 billion euros in investments, but even more, we just have to have individuals with key positions. So it takes days to save them but not to steal them or to give the tenders to the hands and funders of the party that happened in this government..” - has been declared further.
