Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, is due to meet the Albanian diaspora in Thessaloniki on Sunday this week.
The National Ball in Greece has called for a rally against the Albanian prime minister, following the warning of his visit there.
According to A2 CNN, in this announcement Rama's meeting with fellow countrymen, is seen as announcing the challenge by the National Ball, which lists the list of reasons to protest even Fred Beler's imprisonment prior to May 14th elections.
“Declaring pride for Albania and for Albanians living in Greece, Edi Rama comes again with the government's permission to organise a rally in Thessaloniki. His presence only after the persecution of Hellenism in the Northern Epirus, his connection with any antihellen initiative (Relation to Erdogan), Beler's imprisonment and the establishment of a municipal authority in line with his views is a challenge. He, his policy and those who support him are absolutely undesirable. The National Ball calls for an end to tolerance for Tirana”, the National Ball press office reported.
