While the opposition say the KSF is left without bread, the defence ministry argues that it adheres to NATO standards in terms of soldiers' food.
The Defence Ministry has recently secured supply of trees that will be distributed to KSF soldiers.
This minister this week has selected the company “Beni Dona” for supply of trees to KSF needs.
The total value of this contract is projected to be 45 thousand, 925.
The Defence Ministry's Contractive Authority aims to link a contract to an OE, which will have the capacity to carry out tree supply for KSF needs. The implementation of the contract must be made according to the required technical specification and the TRS defined in the tender file and the announcement of the contract. The purpose of the review of this contract is to establish operationality and efficiency in performing tasks according to the MM and KSF mission. In this tender three companies were in the race, and the most expensive bid was that of 69,650.00, meanwhile, the winning company had the cheapest prize -- 45 thousand and 925 euros.
Otherwise, the KSF has not continued the contract with the operator that has so far been for food supply and preparation.
Food for KSF soldiers is being prepared by cooks at the Centre of Students and Prisoners of Kosovo.
