Kosovo taekwondo coach Valmir Fetiu has been suspended for six months by the European federation of this sport.
In the European for Children in Tirana, Fetiu has slapped his 8-year-old racer, who is also his daughter.
The incident was recorded and sounded on Sunday. On Monday, the European federation announced that the coach has been suspended for six months from all international and local activities.
The decision was made by the race's supervisory board with the argument that the coach was “extremely aggressive” with his racer at the end of the war. The coach's name is not mentioned in the published decision.
