IKD Director Ehat Miftaraja has reacted after over 100 civil society organisations from the Balkan Civil Society Network have asked the EU Economic and Social Council to accept Kosovo.
Miftar has said such a letter should be sent to the prime minister, Albin Kurti, to operate the Economic and Social Council in Kosovo.
“The Kosovo government has overwhelmed the social dialogue, not even implementing the minimum standards of social dialogue. The government, instead of developing social dialogue and co-operation with trade unions, the same thing to cover up its failures, has begun fighting trade unions and its legitimate representatives.”, he wrote among other things on Facebook.

Over 100 civil society organisations from the Balkan Civil Society Network have asked the EU's Economic and Social Council for accession to this very important mechanism.
Respect and thank each NGO that signed this letter and is struggling to promote Kosovo into this mechanism.
However, this network should send an additional letter and look to Albin Kurti, Iron Murati, to the Kosovo government in the first place to operate the Economic and Social Council in Kosovo.
The Kosovo government has overwhelmed the social dialogue, not even implementing the minimum standards of social dialogue. The government, instead of developing social dialogue and co-operation with unions, the same as to cover up its failures, has begun to fight trade unions and its legitimate representatives.
If we don't help ourselves, the EU's Social Economic Council can hardly help us.
