From today until March, winter tires are mandatory

Switching wine tires with winter tires in the car for all drivers will start from today and last until March 15th.

All drivers, regardless of weather conditions, should replace summer tires with winter tires and equip themselves with other winter equipment.

The law on road traffic regulations envisions penalties for drivers who during the winter -- the period involving time between November 15th and March 15th -- driving their vehicles without winter equipment.

Kosovo police have appealed to all drivers to replace summer tires with winter ones.
