Among the many names for joining the Pristina's LDK MP race is Fiketet Bata, member of the General Council in the party and asambliste in the Pristina Assembly.
The party's multi-year-old member appears to have found the space and support needed to enter the race for the Kosovo Assembly, following two mandates as part of the capital's Municipal Assembly.
Bearing comes from Gollaku, a region known as LDK bastion even in the most difficult days. Bayta's vote base is exactly Gollaku, but it is understood that it will need broader support in Pristina and elsewhere Kosovo to get enough votes to become part of the Kosovo Assembly.
The LDK and its chairman, Abdixhiku, appear to be preparing for a dynamic campaign for the February 9th elections next year. Much work and commitment will be needed to return The LDK's electoral base, which had a shift in recent elections following many political earthquakes four years ago.
