According to him, the Kurti Government has had the opportunity to move forward with the project, as the road has been declared of national interest and there is no reason not to be completed within specific terms.
“Trade has not changed. It's the same drill. The contracts are connected, and what's there? As for property, which the Environment Ministry is taking, it is the finance ministry that sets the price and it goes completely to Government, and the government decides. Anques can solve court proceedings. But it doesn't stop because it's national interest that way. And there's no one who's in the way of”, Lekay said on RTV Dukajini.
Lekaj also criticised the lack of capital investments, saying the government has failed to spend the funds envisioned for infrastructure projects.
I'm still saying they're used to turning their job into criticism for former governments. Had it worked, it would have ended two years ago on contract. And it's been four years, nobody's on the horizon. Even the prime minister has set dates and where we are today
