After the LDK, PDK sends the law to Constitution for public officials

After the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Democratic Party of Kosovo has also sent the law to the Constitutional Court to power public officials.

So has the PDK parliamentary group chief Abelard Tahiri announced through a status on the social network on Facebook.

As we have warned months ago, today we have submitted to the Constitutional Court the law that the parliamentary majority adopted last week, with which the Law in force for public officials is amended and fulfilled. Like the latter, when we sent him to court two years ago, even now his amendment, we have sent him to try to partisanise the partisanisation of public administration and prevent the degradation of the meritocracy, career and independence system, whose task is to serve with zeal and professionalism all citizens indiscriminately, and not to return as the political instrument of power, Tahiri has said.

This, administration of these public officials, is a long-term investment of the state and our partners and we will not allow ourselves to be subjected to the pressures of political agendas, Tahiri has said further.

The Constitutional Court's Court of the summer of 2023 confirmed all our claims, while the Parliament was obliged within six months to address all violations. Today, about a year and a half after, not only failed to prepare the new law in time but even worse, repeated some of the violations the same way, Tahiri said.
