The candidate for the new Enlargement Commissioner, Marta Kos, has already received confirmation from the EP's foreign policy committee for her new post.
It has passed through the hearing process this week to this European Parliament body. In the same procedure, on Tuesday, November 12th, the future chief of European diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, who must answer the questions of MPs related to Kalla's portfolio in the upcoming five-year term.
On this level, the issue of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia is expected to have considerable place during the hearing.
Slovenian Marta Kos will inherit the post, which Hungarian Olover Vraheli has been practicing for the past five years, has confirmed it will be included in the process of normalising reports between Kosovo and Serbia.
It has also warned a change in the EU's cry in dialogue. This, however, must be confirmed by Callas himself, who will be in charge of the process.
The hearing week enters the most important moments for the Evpian Parliament, which determines the fate of each candidate nominated by any European Union member state.
There are a total of 26 candidates who go through this process, making sure the future commissioners are fit for the assigned task.
The municipalities are nominated by principle, a state of a comet. The 27th candidate, as long as the EU counts, is European Commission President Ursula von der Leenen.
It has already confirmed by the European Parliament.
All hearings end in the middle of next week. Shortly after the conclusion of the hearing process, the European Parliament must vote again to formalise the new college, when the new European Commission structure, which will be in these offices until 2029, is confirmed.
It is still believed that the procedures will end in time and that the new European Commission will start working on December 1st of this year.
