The NGO's Coalition for Child Protection KOMF has reacted to the coach's case, which was seen slap taekwondisten.
This organisation has said on Sunday it expresses deep concern for the case, stressing that violence against children is disturbing, unacceptable and sanctioned with the Criminal Code.
The KEPF has appealed for institutions to implement legislation immediately in the case.
“Dhuna has no reasoning; it should never be used as a means of discipline, as it harms the emotional welfare and psychological development of children, creating fear and uncertainty rather than respect and confidence. Similarly, the KMF stresses that federations and sports clubs should have special regulations and procedures for protecting the child in order to create an internal system that prevents and reacts to child rights violations. We have collective responsibility to ensure that children develop in a safe and caring environment, where their fundamental rights are protected”, said the Facebook response.
