The race takes place between former Republican President Donald Trump and Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris.
And for these elections at a proposal for Periscope, the MP, once a member of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Xhavit Haliti, has spoken.
He has said that, despite the winners, the United States of America will not change reports with Kosovo.
According to him, our country should continue co-operating with America.
Haliti says it is US policy for Kosovo to be an independent state.
“America in general is the place that Albanians are orient to it, have confidence and support. As for issues related to us I believe that we will have to prepare, continue friendship, continue political loyalty, contacts and co-operation for all issues concerning Kosovo.
No reports between Kosovo and the US can have changed reports never again. America's support has been the same even when it was the Republicans in power, and the Democrats in power have made no difference. When the ruling Democrats Kosovo was released with the UCK war and NATO bombings. When the Republicans have been supporting Kosovo in declaring independence, it is therefore US policy for Kosovo to continue its journey to be an independent and integrated state in international institutions”, he has declared Periscope.
Remember, the Democrat candidate Kamala Harris, has been addressed with an open letter to the Albanian American community, where, among other things, it praises the strong ties of Albanians to the US.
In the letter it also highlights American aid for Kosovo's independence and support that will continue to give, if it is to be in the White House, following the November 5th elections.
