Forgotten by the state: Pensioners are not allowed to engage either in institutions with a lack of quota

According to Kosovo law, citizens aged 65 retire. Despite the qualifications, the same unemployed and employed ones who reach this age benefit 120 euros a month, as long as the retirement of old age is. Many institutions have quadrupt deficits, including those of the hospital health care, but the law constitutes barrier to pensioners' commitment. Some of the retired professionals feel abandoned and disappointed that they are not even required advice.
The several-decade professional experience in security and protection of former KSF Commander Kadri Kastrati has not been of use since he reached retirement age.
When 65-year-old employees, including qualified cadres, arrive, they are not engaged by public institutions, either as professional advice.
And Kastrati is disappointed.
And since my retirement in 2015, I've been really disappointed many times, considering that no minister, no prime minister, no president, has ever asked me to consult, to be advised, to give my opinion in the field of defence, except for a minister...”, Kastrati said.
Kastrati has shown that other countries behave differently with quadros.
I remember one case in the US at the Pentagon, where the commander of all US National Guard, the four-star general around himself, who had retired generals, who advised him, stood by him and did not allow him to err and carry out missions as he should have done, he said.
The law in Kosovo stipulates that the official who reaches the age of 65 retires.
The rate also affects deficit vaults.
Retired Anesthesiologist Agron Balaj, who retired a year ago, says that despite the intention to continue working at the CKUK's Orthopedic Clinic, this did not work.
There was a tendency to return, but because of existing laws it was not possible to continue working. Doctors with conditioning and well-healthed conditioned should continue, especially in the deficit specialities they are, such as anesthesia, and some”, Balaj said.
During this year 94 health professionals have retired.
The chairman of the Oda of Medicines, Plerat Sejdiu, has said that the cause of lack of health institutions also has great needs for direct work by retired specialists.
We've had requests that in the Orthopedic clinic for employment of a specialist to these retirees, that we continue to influence and reduce the waiting list that is very real, but it's not a legal basis that would regulate this job. I think with a political will, this has been able to fix how many years of time”, Sejdiu said.
In public universities, continued teaching contracts have been enabled until the end of the academic year. However, the practice has been changed last year, but contracts can continue to teach only on programs that can endanger accredition.
In three government dictatorships, they do not answer TIME questions, as far as policies have to do with working for those who reach retirement age.
Sociologist Selatin Kllokoqi argues why the legal rate related to retirement age should be amended.
The most important “was if the retirement age were to continue away, not to remain 65, but to be done optionally -- that is, if the institution needs -- to stay longer” -- is the Klokoqi expressed.
General Kadri Kastrati has said that if the rate was changed, it would be the first to offer institutions.
We're willing to give to the state, to our country, to give our thoughts, our experience that we've spent a lifetime in uniform”, Kastrati declared.
Despite the qualifications, both the unemployed and the employed who reach the age of 65 earn 120 euros a month, as long as the retirement of old age is. They can provide double the amount of financial contributions given before the war.
