President Erdogan addressed the International Joint Summit of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OBI) and the Arab League being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
“Texa some Western countries offer all kinds of support to Israel, the inability of Muslim countries to react has brought the situation to this point”, Erdogan stressed.
He recalled that to date, 50,000 Palestinians, 70 percent of them children and women, “have been martyred in massacres committed by Israel in Gaza and other Palestinian territories”.
“Israel does not tolerate even the sending of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and it has been awaiting the materials of aid sent to Egypt”, Erdogan said, adding that Turkey has sent more than 84 thousand tonnes of aid to Gaza to date and is ready to send much more when the obstacles are removed.
“We need to encourage the maximum number of countries to intervene in the issue raised by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice”, Erdogan further said, adding:
