Defence ministry comes up with clarification for Liman Musliu's case attacks media, says they are misinforming citizens

The defence ministry said in a Facebook post that the media is misinforming citizens and that they are spreading false news.
With the incidental and tragic death of the civil servant in the General Staff of the Kosovo Security Force, Mr. Liman Musliu, some media in haste, distributed news full of untruths, which provoked indignation among citizens against KSF and the Ministry of Defence. In this case, these media and portals used the case to accuse the Ministry of Defence and KSF of lower payment of KSF members, who allegedly, the late one, Mr. Musliu, has been forced to work additional jobs after hours to ensure his and the existence of his” family, the Defence Ministry has announced.
The report says that with the aim of clarifying and informing the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, we suggest that official Limon Musliu, under KSF contract, has been a civil official.

The same has been the beneficiary of the KLA's disability pension, as well as the pension of KPC. The deceased was not a uniformised member of KSF”, the announcement said.
“KSF and MM have no competencies and no ban on how KSF member, or civil official spends the rest of the day, after regular work hours, or weekends. In the concrete case of official Liman Musliu, his working relationship at KSF is not linked to any restrictions presented in Article 18 of Law No. 06/L -011, for the Prevention of Conflict of Interest in the Public Function Army”, follows the announcement.
