The former head of the Central Election Commission, Valdete Daka, has said that Kosovo Constitution, Article 139, respectively, clearly shows that the CEC organises elections outside Kosovo.
According to Daka CEC, it is mandatory to organise elections in the Embassy, in diaspora, not outside them.
Daka recalled the time when he was voted in the mail, complaining that the deadlines have been short.
This has been the only trouble, this has raised dissatisfaction with the diaspora because it has always seemed to the CEC is not properly organising elections”, she said.
This response by Daka has come after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspara has asked the CEC for competency for organising and managing elections outside Kosovo.
