Kelmendi in his post called “criminal organization” Kosovo Special Prosecutor, after this latter has launched investigations into several contracts negotiated at this public company, which their value is close to 20m euros.
The reason was made, several of Periscop questions that were addressed to Kosovo's Media Office in connection with the investigations the Kosovo Police Economic Crimes Unit has launched along with the Special Prosecutor.
All that's happened is that Feim Kelmendi, senior Telekom official, has not expected a media office in this company to answer the questions started, but has published on his page in “Facebook” The contracts required by the police (also published the names of illegal police investigators), where he cast bitterness at the Special Prosecutor.
By contrast, the media office in Kosovo Telecom has been more careful in relation to special procurement and Kosovo police.
Fadil Lepaja in a response to Periscope has said they co-operate closely with these institutions.
In principle, Telekom strives largely not to officially comment or publish the interests, requirements or decisions of the Kosovo Police, Prosecutor or Courts. We respect their work and competence, as we care to do our job as well, in line with the authorisations given to us by the Law”, he has told Periscope.
Lepaja has even detailed the number of negotiated contracts the prosecution and police have begun investigating.
“Anass how you refer to these contracts, we can confirm that investigators from the Kosovo Police have requested documentation for 10 (ten) procurement activities that have been guided through “Negotiated Procuation Procurement, No Publicisation of the Submission of” under Article 35 of the Public Procurement Law. Documentation has been requested and submitted formally”, he said.
