The European Football Confederation (UEFA) has confirmed through a written answer to TIME that it has launched investigations into Romania's Football Federation and the Kosovo Football Federation.
The procedure opened after the League of Nations match between Romania and Kosovo. Disciplinary procedures have launched against the Romanian federation and the Kosovo federation, in line with Article 55 of UEFA's disciplinary regulation. Further information about these procedures will be available at the right time”, UEFA responses.
Article 55 says the procedures are opened by the UEFA administration on the basis of official reports, when protest takes place and at the request of the Executive Committee, the president of the U. EFA or UEFA Secretary General.
Now U EFA appoints an Ethics and Discipline inspector to handle the case.
