Four years since the arrest of former KLA leaders is required “

With optimism, Jashar declared that they would be freed from this infamous ʹaktakuza and come white-eyed to their country.

The indictment of the four KLA leaders, he calls the notorious çaktakutza for staining Kosovo's pure and just war.

KMDLNJ Chairman Behxhet Shala, for Online Economy, has said their stay in The Hague is too much. According to him, after four years it should be more tender.

While, for Albanian witnesses who are testifying against KLA leaders, at the Special Court, Shala has declared they are false and improvised and interviewing everyone is leading to the delay in the trial.

We can't say they're either being held unjustly or fairly. The court takes the verdict on their innocence based on evidence. However, it has been done a lot, it has been nearly any time, it's too much, because it can't happen that none of them can meet the terms for that measure to be replaced by any milder measure, much more when prosecution witnesses, protected and vulnerable, false ones, those who are mostly false and fabricated witnesses, then there is no reason for them to be held in prison after witnesses of the prosecution are heard, because they cannot influence witnesses, and should be replaced by other measures and nothing lost from the court in this measure, Shala said.

From the human rights aspect, Shala has stressed that there is no compelling reason for leaders to be treated as at the beginning of the process.

Parading is a very extreme measure given when they can prevent the process of influenceing witnesses. Most have given their interview as witnesses, from the aspect of human rights deprived of freedom, no compelling reason for the prosecution to treat them further as at the beginning of the” process, he added.

According to Shala, the Special Court has failed to account for Kosovo institutions.

“It has had to be taken another measure, the Special Court had requested guarantees from Kosovo police if they would be able to monitor domestic arrest or another measure, Kosovo's response since it was a delay, and the Special Court has somehow been joking about that response and ignoring all the Kosovo Police, Kosovo Prosecutor and dealt with it.
