In the announcement of the American Oda, this subject reportedly supports the president's assessments that key provisions of the law in question are contrary to provisions of the country's highest judicial act, the Constitution, as well as other laws.
The American Oda stresses that he strongly believes the president's decision is aimed at avoiding legal conflicts and respecting the authority, responsibilities and legal functioning of various institutions of the Republic of Kosovo.
It is imperative that the provisions regulating consumer protection do not connect with other regulatory aspects that do not pre-meditually or specifically regulate the area of consumer rights and their protection, such as environmental issues”, the report says.
The American Economic Oda believes that the return to review of this Law will allow for consideration of the concerns and recommendations of private sector representatives and organisations that contribute to consumer rights, as demonstrating commitment to inclusive efforts between all parties of interest.
