Former ambassador: Kurti's statements to Trumpin-Nomaturi, his election again as prime minister will be the end of Kosovo in geopolitical and economics

Donald Trump's return to the White House has raised another debate in Kosovo about what Kosovo Government's co-operation with the US will be. All of this after Prime Minister Albin Kurti was expecting him in <x0nd <x0nkth” the arrival of Trump and that the Government's chief had long ago had continued clashes with Richard Green, which is expected to be part of Trump's cabinet this time again, writes Periscope.

In an interview for Periscope, former Kosovo Ambassador Edon Cana has praised that Prime Minister Kurti's statements in relation to the Trump administration are” unremarked and reckless”.

“Prime Minister Kurti and his statements regarding Trump show a responsibility and notoriety in terms of anxiety for European leaders. The American people decide what's best for America. I think that a prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo who has made unprecedented statements in history of the Republic of Kosovo in relation to the American administration, the president and other representatives of the Trump administration should be very careful in this direction and be cautious because he does not represent a political party, but the Republic of Kosovo, and this Republic considers the most strategic partner and ally in the world and not forget that the United States is also hisdar in Kosovo's liberation, and that I cannot undermine or risk any prime minister<18x1>, Canaspisko told Perisko.

The former ambassador expressed disappointment with the fact that Kosovo's reports with the White House during Kurti government have not been good. According to him, Akosova has not had an active diplomatic relationship with the US, including the lack of Kurti visits.

The election of President Trump as president of the US implies the will of American citizens, and this in relation to Kosovo does not play any role. What Kosovo plays is how Kosovo treats its strategic and most important ally, how it cultivates that report, and how it deals with geopoliticals or actions that connect with European and global geopoliticals. I think it's a new moment with which we have to embrace this new moment and create a better and more normal relationship than today, because today Kosovo actually doesn't have any active diplomatic reports with the US, it's isolated and suspended in the report with the White House, considering that it's unprecedented that a Kosovo prime minister does not have after a high-level visit<1>, Cana added.

According to Canes, if Kurti will continue ruling in yet another mandate, then reports with the Trump administration will deteriorate.

I don't believe that Prime Minister Kurti will be co-ordinating with the US, considering that he had effectively lobbied President Biden's selection and ended up co-operating with President Beden, so he had said the blame was on President Trump when he was president and then turned out it wasn't the blame for the UBA presidents, but it was the fault of Prime Minister Kurti, who in essence has an incorrect, contemptuous approach in reporting with America. I think the report with the Trump administration will get worse, but I don't think there's much time I believe on February 9th things will change in Kosovo and Prime Minister Kurti won't have that opportunity to co-operate with President Trump. Given that we are now from elections to the inauguration of President Trump is a transition team that will ensure that all policies pass a proper transition. I believe that the selection of Prime Minister Kurti as prime minister will be in some form the end of Kosovo, not only geopolitical, but also economics because an iszilom will follow.
