On November 10, 2024, at 12:20, we received a phone call from family members concerned about the loss of a child about 7 in the region of Artana (Novoberda). The child had gone out to play on the mountain near his home and had, in all likelihood, lost his orientation.
Family members, together with the Kosovo Police, had been searching for about three hours without success, then applying the Kosovo Research-Peace Service for additional assistance. Kosovo's Research-Peace Service team quickly left and arrived at the scene at 13:30.
Upon arrival, the team reportedly had already been found by Kosovo family and police, and was returning safely home. The child was in good health and no injuries.
This case ended without need for the intervention of Kosovo's Research-Peace Service team. We wish our child health and long life.
