Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Xhavit Haliti has reacted after statements by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, who held at the UN, where he criticised the international factor for recognising Kosovo's independence, while the situation between Kosovo and Serbia compared him to Russia and Ukraine.
Haliti says it is not important what Vuciqi says, as he says he knows better than anyone else that his dream of re-cuting Kosovo has ended.
The “is not very important what Vuciqi says and led. He and Lavrov received the answer from Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama as well as Secretary of State Mr. Blinken and representatives of Western countries. Vuciq knows better than anyone else that his dream of Kosovo's recapturing has ended”, Haliti said.
He says that we should build sustainable Western-backed policies and projects.
“We need to build long-standing and stable policies and projects supported by the West”, he added.
He says Prime Minister Kurti should apologise to the United States and the EU, and to Kosovo citizens over his political stance in negotiations.
“Loyisticity towards the US, the EU, Great Britain, and all NATO countries, for Kosovo is necessary. Kosovo's prime minister should allow vain rhetoric and apologise to the US, the EU and the citizens of Kosovo, regarding his political stance in negotiations”, he said. Haliti says that Vuciqi can “look into” as long as he wants as Kosovo is a free country, where he says I hope Serbia will change its anti-Albanian policies.
“And Vucinqi can come and look at what she wants, Kosovo is a free country and will be allowed with any conditions on the UN, EU, political and security decision-making table. I hope that Serbia too will change its anti-Albanian, revolutionary, skiventist and expansionist policies, Haliti told Blic newspaper.
