Svechla confirms the departure of 25% of police from the north: We're implementing the Bratislava deal.

Interior Minister Jedal Svecla has announced the decision to withdraw 25% of Kosovo Police troops in and around municipal facilities in the north. As Kosovo Police revealed during the day, today they have held a meeting with EULEX and KFOR, where it is found that the situation is calm in that part of the country, which has opened the way to this decision, writes online Reporter.net.

Kosovo's “Police have held a meeting with EULEX and KFOR, as envisioned at the point 2 of the Bratislava agreement. The conclusion of common security assessment is that the situation is calm. From tomorrow we will cut the police presence by 25% inside and around the municipal buildings”, Svechla wrote on Twitter.

On the other hand, Minister Svechla said this is evidence that Kosovo is fulfilling pledges from the Bratislava agreement.

Kosovo is implementing pledges from the Bratislava agreement and is continuing to positively contribute to de-progressing”, he said further.
