So Kosovo Police Union Chairman Imer Zeqiri, who stressed that this protest would also affect the work of the Kosovo Police, under which they cannot function without these two groups.
The chairman in this union, Zeqiri said that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has been in charge for three months when he promised to regulate the value of the cofficient for the same workers, but there is still no response from the MPB.
As information to you a little younger, I have information from two groups of civil staff officials from the operational fleet, part of the skills that they serve our cars and employees of the operational support department... I've received warning that they will protest the frustrations of wages. The reason is that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has promised three months ago that they will regulate the value of coffients as positive as they do, where in this group they are automechanic, autolymaric, we have bricklayers, installing water, electrolytics and many category of masters, where with the new wage law they are highly discriminated against. That's why I've addressed requests to the Minister of Internal Affairs so that we can meet with workers”, Zeqiri says.
Zeqiri said the number of workers protesting is about 100.
So, they have at least others and support from the union, but we're going to be very careful to get along... The operational fleet is about 60, while these are about 40. So, the two sides are about 100 employees... from the minister we haven't yet received an answer to”, following Zeiqri.
Zeiqi until he said that these workers have lost patience to wait longer, added that the above-mentioned categories have remained in the category of a maintenance officer's cofficient.
He added that with the Labour Law, police officials have no right to enter the strike.
The wage law, which is in force from February, had set the value of the pay cofficiency in the public sector 105 euros.
However, this law is in the Constitutional Court, which on April 7th the Ombudsman has sent to the Constitutional.
In this regard, the Ombudsman had accepted complaints from the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the Kosovo Judicial Council, municipal education officials, nurses, doctors, the Kosovo Police Union, the Central Election Commission and institutions and other organisations.
