He said he was questioned about Kosovo there, as he added that Kosovo is an independent country and that he has testified to himself as the international community's chief partner.
“asked me about Kosovo. Kosovo is an independent country, a living democracy that in 15 years of its existence has passed the test of democracy and proved itself a credital partner of the international community. Northern Macedonia has recognised Kosovo and developed excellent bilateral relations with it”, he said, as he answered the public question in Santander.
“We are so proud that High Representative Borrell decided that talks between Serbia and Kosovo will be held in northern Macedonia, in Ohrid, which I think was a successful activity for both”, he said.
And we simply appeal to Serbia and Kosovo to continue with implementing the provisions of the Ohrid and International Agreement in order to reach a comprehensive agreement, which essentially has mutual recognition. We think this is the only way for all Western Balkan countries to continue their journey towards EU integration”.
