Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ganimette Musliu has led serious accusations against Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti.

She has said Kurti is Kosovo's chief thief.

According to her, he and the other corrupt ones in Government have their place in prison.

In this interview given the Nacional newspaper, the PDK deputy has declared that the State Prosecutor should interview the Kosovo chief of executive as well.

She has estimated that the protection Kurt made to relatives dealing with state reserves has been scandalous.

The areas that are public, according to Musliu, are just the tip of the iceberg.

In this long interview, Musliu has also talked about the parliamentary investigation that will take place against Dejona Mihali, the opposition of the PDK and the changes the opposition needs in the country.

Mrs. Musliu, these summer months, the corrupt relationships of Kurti Government have been frequented. Why do you think this is happening?

Musliu: I think that a party which comes to power making utopic promises, shifting the system from a political and judicial system to a completely moral sphere, denigrating and imposing without any criteria all its political opponents, cannot fail in practice. The open environments are just the tip of the iceberg, because for the next three years of their governance, scandals and misgovernance, citizens' fraud, and the obstruction of public life has been the daily duty of Albin Kurt's government. In other words, we have a government that, besides lying as the main pillar of ideology, has the goal of destroying the entire existing political system. We have a government that differentiates in honest and dishonest Albanians as the Milosevic system once differentiated. We have a government that works night and day to enrich Albin Kurti and strengthen his power, so when state institutions are tried to be put into service to one person, they can't expect seriousness and accuracy, no work and progress can be expected. I am convinced that the published relatives are not the only scandals of this government and that there will be scandals and other relatives, because the whole government is racing with each other about who loves Albin the most, who most steals about Albin, who lies more about Albin and who violates the dignity of others to raise Albin.

Finally, it became known that this year there will be no free textbooks for students, since there has been so far. Who should be responsible for this?

Musliu: The primary responsibility lies with Albin Kurti. Arberie Nagavci, he's just Albin's manager. Albin Kurti has been able to reshape the government several times in these three years of government. The ministers' failures are their boss' failures. I mentioned it even higher than this government, the main mission is to destroy any achievements in this country. Their presumptuous approach, just a week before the start of the new academic year, means putting parents behind the wall. A responsible government would eventually start reforms in education, but the Government of Kosovo has decided to destroy even what has been achieved so far. Therefore, the responsibility is not of a minister, the responsibility is that of the prime minister who appoints an incompetent man, who holds the minister, and takes courage and protects him even when it comes to management failure and constitutional violations.
This decision aims to hit and bore out even more citizens who are daily abandoning Kosovo. This decision is scandalous and at a time when the lives of citizens are heavily charged economically represent a government attack on the parents who, I think, should have responded with protests. The collective silence means co-existence.

In the vicinity of state reserves, we already have several more arrests. Is that enough, or should the chain of responsibility affect the political staff?

Musliu: It's not enough. In no way should the chain of responsibility remain solely with the foreign persons and ministry officials. Usually with the management of state reserves, the commanding chain is upside down, not the opposite, so responsibility should be equivalent to hierarchy. No step was taken without Albin Kurt's order and permission. In a concrete case, Albin Kurti defended the scandalous process of managing state reserves, which means it is about reconciliation and is aware of what happened and how this process worked out. In his scandalous appearance, Albin accused the opposition, citizens, the media and the state prosecutor. For his openly proving his direct involvement, the prosecution must question Albin Kurti. His promise was thieves in prison, Albin Kurti is coming out to be Kosovo's chief haji and as such has him in prison along with his scandalous government.

So far we have seen a defence Prime Minister Albin Kurti has given to Minister Hajdari. And for other relatives he protected his people and attacked the justice system. Why is this happening?

Musliu: Because Albin Kurti has no criteria, no human ethics, and no responsibility for this country he tries to put under the roof. It is very simple; this man is not seeking rulership. This man is intent on bowing down democracy and turning free citizens into his political slaves. Furthermore, Albin Kurti cannot protect his own servants because they take every action for Albin Kurti, and in case they fall he will fall with them. If he does not protect them, they will no longer be loyal to him. Albin's attempt to accuse everyone so that his ministers do not end up in prison was a miserable attempt by a man who has lost the political battle yet to come to power. His coming to power, although legally penalised, will remain in history as the most notorious political experiment in post-war Kosovo.

After these relatives, we have seen a brutal attack on opposition and business by VV official Dejona Mihali, who claims he knows who opposition leaders are calling. Is that bothering you?

Musliu: He didn't bother me at all. I'm a politician who gives high value to public responsibility. Dejona Mihajli will provide answers to the implied charges because we are dealing with leaders who are contenders for top state positions. Each politician in Kosovo, position or opposition without exception, must account for his actions. I invite Dejona Mihajlin to publicize the facts of the accusations he throws into the air and I invite my country's investigator to invite this woman because the time when such accusations are dropped without responsibility should come to an end forever. Anyone who possesses facts about certain state-owned people who confirm the risk of our country's security should make it public and the investigation should be very active in such cases. In case of lying and baseless investigation, necessary steps should be taken against the liars.

Earlier you have warned that you will launch parliamentary investigations against Mrs. Michael. When will this happen, and what is the objective of this investigation?

Musliu: September will be the month, which will define many issues which are the political current of the past few months. I stand behind my idea that Dejona Mihajlin should be initiated by the parliamentary investigative commission to first clarify Kosovo's citizenship, taking into account the fact that it was barred from entering Kosovo. If the opposition neglects the parliamentary opportunity to seek accountability from the government, not only for Dejona Mihajlin, but for all relatives, then today has lost the political race and our country will end up in an unabated dictatorship so far. We don't need a silent opposition. We need a sincere and active opposition because the failures of the current government have surfaced, and opposition silence means surrender.

In the following month, the Parliament's autumn session is expected to begin. Will PDK change anything to its opposition approach against Kurti Government?

Musliu: Of course it will. Up until opposition has brought the desired results because as long as The PDK has targeted a constructive opposition, Vetevendosje has continued its opposition to us. Instead of ruling with the country, the VV daily has practiced its propaganda against the PDK.
So, The PDK has the last chance to show the VV and the citizens of this country that it is the most merity party for all its achievements and that it will in no way tolerate that a mathematician, a classic thief and a demagog destroy this state created on the sacrifice of many generations.
