In the statement to reporters, after the end of the session, lawyer Halimi has said his client was involved in buying reserves with direct commitment from Minister Hajdari, despite the fact that the minister the previous day indicated there is no knowledge and has not seen Muharrem's name anywhere in documents.
From the prosecution they said 600 thousand of the reserves were evaporated, while businessman's lawyer, Ridvan Muharremi, says that is not true.
According to Halim, after the arrival of the goods in Durres, “has lost an amount, within the allowed loss rate of”, and according to him, it is unintelligible how the prosecution said 600 thousand reserves were evaporated.
“Sands along the way, wheat terets and loses weight and is normal, for oil and gasoline derivatives is also allowed because it evaporates in transport. My client, he didn't commit a crime or even help with the crime. Minister Hajdari has stated yesterday that there is no information that Muharrem was contracted for any contracts about the reserves.
