The tropical Hilary storm has caused roads across the dry moja California of Mexico to be affected by deadly flooding on Sunday. The storm continued to move toward the southern part of California, where it flooded roads and fell trees.
National authorities have expressed concern that the floods could hit other parts of the country, as far as areas in the northern part of the country, such as Aidaho.
According to weather seers, this is the first time in 84 years that southern California is hit by a tropical storm. This time, the Hilary storm has brought floods, landslides, strong winds, power cuts, and tornado danger.
It rained more than 15cm in some mountainous areas as it approached annual rain figures in desert areas.
On Sunday evening, the National Weather Service in Los Angeles, California, warned of considerable danger from floods in mountainous areas northeast of Los Angeles.
“J I prayed... SLAIN THE GREG RECIE”, the agency posted on the X platform, previously known as Twitter.

One person drowned on August 19th in the Mexican city of Santa Rosalia in his vehicle because of the floods. Rescue teams saved four others, said Edith Agililar Villavicencio, mayor of the Mulege municipality.
California Governor Gavin Nessom, and Nevada's Joe Lombardo, have declared a state of emergency in areas run by them. The Federal Emergency Management Agency said emergency teams are ready to supply citizens in need of food, water and other assistance.
“I urge everyone, on the road to this storm, to take precautions and to listen to instructions from state and local officials”, said US President Joe Biden.
Later, Biden went on to report constantly about the storm and that he was willing to offer federal assistance.
From San Diego to Los Angeles reported on mud and stones on highways, flooded roads, and fallen trees in the neighborhood.
Tens of cars were blocked because of floods in the usually hot, dry desert and in communities around the Coachella Valley.
The Unified School District of Los Angeles, the second largest educational system in the country, said all campuses would be shut down on Monday. San Diego Schools postponed Monday's first class day on Tuesday.
The southern part of California also suffered a preliminary 5.1-magnitude earthquake, which hit about 130 kilometers northwest of downtown Los Angeles on Sunday afternoon, according to the US Geological Service. The responsible authorities have not revealed much damage or hurt people.
Before this storm, the United States, Canada and Mexico were hit by other climate disasters this year. The Maui island of Hawaii is still facing massive fires that have killed over 100 people and destroyed the historic city of Lahaina. Meanwhile, even firefighters in Canada are facing a record number of massive fires this year.
According to authorities, the Hilary storm could also hit countries west of the United States with rare rainfall, registering as the Cyclone that has brought mostly rainfall to Nevada, Oregon and Aidaho.
In September 1939, a tropical storm in California destroyed the railway tracks, took home from their foundations, and overturned many boats, killing about 100 people.
