Chinese social media platform TikTok has announced a number of new features for European users aimed at improving compatibility with European Union regulations.
But after TikTok agreed to one last month, EU industry chief Thierry Bretton said more work was needed to be fully in line.
The European Commission a few months ago has banned staff from using the Chinese TikTok app for security reasons, in the latest example of growing tensions between Beijing and the West.
