The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, hosted representatives of the KLA war organisations released today: the Veterans' Organisation, the Association of Invalids and the Association of Witness Families, who addressed their concerns in relation to the contents of Law No. 08/L-124 for the change and implementation of laws that define the amount of engagement at the height of the minimum wage, the procedures of the minimum wage assignment and tax rates in personal annual revenues, which were adopted last week in the Kosovo Assembly.
At a meeting with representatives of organisations released by the KLA war, President Osmani has announced to them that the Law for Minimial Paga is still in the Assembly, and once it comes to the presidency, it will be handled by legal experts in the Presidency and in line with the constitutional competencies of the presidency institution.
According to President Osmani, this Law will be analysed by the President's Office and then carried out in accordance with the president's constitutional and legal responsibilities and given the importance of dignified treatment of these categories.
At this meeting, organisations released from the KLA war also presented some of the challenges facing these categories and agreed to continue communicating for their treatment.
