Fifteenth South Summer Camp for Child Born Heart defects organised by Clinic Jean Mitrev

Traditionally for the 15th consecutive year clinic Jean Mitrev in collaboration with the City of Skopje Red Cross completes summer camp for children with heart defects and their families in Struga. Through this camp called “My heart in all colors”, the purpose of the clinic Jean Mitrev is to continue care and therapeutic process outside the hospital, in an atmosphere of open nature and a suitable environment. Over 20 children and their families attend the weeklong camp as part of the rehabilitation process after medical treatment.

All activities, games, entertainment, and society are combined with psychological, interactive, and physical exercises that encourage physical, emotional, and social development even after the hospital exit. The rehabilitation activities are conducted under the leadership and supervision of the team of doctors and therapists from Clinic Jean Mitrev, which consists of psychotherapist, licensed psychologist and psychotherapist, and neuro-linguistic programming practitioners.

Camp “My heart in all colors”, under the great and complete support of Dr. Mitrev, has been held for 15 years and has yielded great results in rehabilitation of children with congenital heart defects.
