Former ally of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Daut Haradinaj, has named Prime Minister Albin Kurti “the most falseist on the Kosovo Liberation Army veterans' lists.
In a statement to the media following the veterans' protest Saturday, Haradinaj has called for the Law on the minimum wage to be rejected, which in the current form does not guarantee increased pensions for veterans.
On Saturday, during the day Prime Minister Albin Kurti said there is triple the number of veterans and laid out the need to clean up the lists.
“are being called off as an inflated list, but neglecting the fact that they have list cleaning mechanisms. As they rage at press conferences, let them take measures to clean up lists and let the illegal depart and sanction. The law is clear. But I think among the most deceptive and lying veterans on this whole list is Albin Kurti, who never has a rifle in his hand and enjoys veteran status. Veterans like Albin Kurti have been two million Kosovo citizens, that all have been at war”, Haradinaj has said.
