Otherwise, the Special Prosecutor has confirmed today that the property of Faruk Mujka, chief executive of the Hydro-economic Company Board “has been raided. Iber-Lepenci”, and former director for Geodeze, Kadast and Property in the Mitrovica municipality Hysen Muzliukaj.
The prosecution reports that 60 thousand euros has been seized in two booked properties.
“Under the supervision of the Special Prosecutor, Kosovo Police, the Special Investigation Unit, has conducted raids on these two locations, the property of the two suspects. During the raid at one location, among other things, the sum of the money of sixty thousand (650,000,000) Euro” has been found and seized.
The Special Prosecutor reports there is reasonable doubt that defendants F.M. and H.M., in the quality of official persons, have deliberately exploited official duty or authority in order to benefit illegal property benefits for themselves or others, have exceeded their official competencies and have not respected their duties and responsibilities in order to exercise their office under the law.
