Armendi muja: You have personal interests in dismissal of the KPM Board

During a review of the request for the dismissal of the Independent Commission's Board for Mining and Minerals (KPMM), Vetevendosje MP Armend Muja has reproved the chairman of the KPM Board, Selvete Grejcevci é Plana for forgiveness, as he says of the mine change worth over 9m euros to the company “Ferroni<2>. During [...]
During the report to the Commission for Economics, Chairman Gracevci Plana has responded to MP Muja, saying the Board's actions have been on legal grounds.
However, the other board member, Gani Maliqi, has accused MP Armendi Muja, since according to him, Muja aims to advance his personal agendas.
Initially, Commission member Amend Muja has said that one of the reasons why the dismissal of the KPM Board has been initiated is the pardoning of mine change debt for the company “Ferronik” owned by Samir Mane from Albania.
MP Muja was the most vocal on the Commission, has asked the board's leader, Grejqevci Plana, what the exchange of the rent worth over 9m euros has been.
“One of the reasons why this demand has been initiated is to pardon the debt of the mining rent company “Ferronkel” owned by Samir Mane from Albania. On the basis of what decision that decision has been made to free from the obligations of the mining entity in August of last year”, he stressed.
For this, Grejqevci Plana has said her move during the vote in Bord has been on the recommendation of the complaint reviewing Commission.
“We have not considered this debt, because they (Ferrnikli) reported, but now why it's been allowed ten years to report “Ferronkel” and none of the KPMM's say you're not reporting correctly, and in line with the guidelines should be given a timeline in line with Article 9. I have voted in part, since the investigative Commission said complaints”, she stressed.
After this response, MP Muja has berated the Board's leader, Selvette Grejqevci Plana, saying that on the basis of the vote he did not pass the Commission's recommendation for complaints and, therefore, has had a decision to pardon the debt.
Muja: You say here, I read: I request from each board member to state personally whether it is for or against the Commission's recommendation to review complaints about “Ferronkelit” complaint. You put him in the polls, two were for, three were against you, no commission recommendation passed for complaints, and therefore there was no decision.
Gracevcii Plana: They didn't say the ones who refused, they said it was partially approved.
Muja: Yeah, these guys are basically saying it's partially approved, but as a board, you put it in a vote. You voted for, someone against, two for, three against, so the recommendation was not approved. What that means legally, that the situation remains the way it was. The previous decision has changed.
Gracevcii Plana: These three others had three votes.
Muja: “For these three we have other issues. We're just asking you”.
To MP Muja, AAK deputy Pal Lekaj has reacted, who stressed that he does not thus dare to treat the people whom the VV itself has elected to the Kosovo Assembly.
You have chosen the “You have chosen, and the decisions of the House are severed, you must not take this way to treat people. We're not in Enver Hoxha's time. This is a pity the Kosovo Assembly has come to”, Lekaj stressed.
But, KPM Board member Gani Maliqi has accused MP Armend Muja that his request for the Board's dismissal has occurred for reasons to advance his personal agenda.
Maliqi, during the report to the Commission, also said that Muja is recognised in the opinion of his relatives.
They thought we were the ones who quit, didn't quit, please don't bother me when I'm talking. It's a request, because MP Ardmen Muja is not interested in advancing state agendas, but it's about bringing their personal agendas forward... My only mistake is that I entrusted government with clean hands without corruption. Imagine what kind of government this is when it's inside Armen Munja, known for its relatives. We are going to the KPM, the prime minister of Kosovo, who certainly is not informed of what is happening at the KPM. I quote to the prime minister: You will work, you will make difficult decisions, but don't be afraid, because the country is behind you. We've been the ones that've made difficult decisions, but the state has abandoned us”, he stressed.
At the start of the meeting, Commission for Economy Chairman Ferat Shala has announced that KPM Board member Jahir Gashi has resigned on Thursday, while the recommended download list are: Selvette Gracevci Board's leading Plana, Gani Maliqi, Gani Kastrati and Roseta Pushcoli Macoll.
The initiative for the Board's dismissal was by MP Armend Muja.
