A 5.5-scale Richter earthquake has hit Turkey's southern province of Adana on Tuesday morning, according to the Nandil Earthquake Monitoring Centre.
The centre said the earthquake was recorded at 8:44 a.m.
The quake's epicentre has been in Kozan, about 64 km from the city of Adana.
Authorities have not reported injuries or damaged houses.
The quake comes several months after February devastating earthquakes in this country and in parts north of Syria.
More than 50,000 people have died in Turkey alone, and tens of thousands of buildings have been destroyed.
Many of the homes damaged as a result of February earthquakes have not yet been collapsed by authorities.
Orhan Tatar, head of the Department for Risk Reduction in the Disaster Management Authority, has called on the public to stay away from damaged buildings.
