Zemaj criticises Arben Year for failing to appoint militants

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Armend Zemaj said that during three years of government, the Kurti government has adopted only one law. He stated to the Commission for Health and Social Goodness that the only law has been adopted with the support of the opposition, while accusing Minister Arben Vitita that the secretary's deployment as chairman of the [...] Board.
This government's third “year with an approved law. The only law that has been adopted is with support from the opposition. The secretary's deployment as chairman of the SHKUK Board is a mixture of competencies. We're being asked by the media where the account for SSH (Health Information System) is now saying that the feasibility study is being done... millions of euros have been granted. The drug agency doesn't even notice. We saw what happened to insulin. Unfortunately, nothing is seen at all”, Vitia declared.
Meanwhile, Minister Vitita said some statements by deputy Zemaj remain, but with some remarks.
Who knows that we've been dealing with COVID for the first two years? What I can't accept is that it's about placing what you called public militants in public places. Never afterwards have public militants been in health management, he added.
I agree with you. We have to ask for an account. During a decade's investment in the SSHA, no VV minister has been a VV. But for AKPPM this situation has been. It wasn't a good situation. Now the competition for AKPPM chief is in the pre-test phase”, he added.
While deputy of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Bekim Haxhiu, said the Kurti Government still has no health strategy nor investment in the ministry.
There are still no health strategies in the third year of governance. There's no investment in the patrol service. The Health Insurance Law was promised to change. Since 2006-2023, SSH is being brought to ministers' desks and nothing has been done”, Haxhiu said.
