The same are expected to come to Kosovo and draw up reports on judicial, political issues and the equality and rights of communities. Meanwhile, only two lawyers have been appointed who are not deputies at the KiE Parliamentary Assembly, who will make the first report on Kosovo in terms of constitutionality and minority rights.
In the MPJD, they are optimistic that Kosovo will also pass its next stages for full membership in this international institution, until they say they have no signal that recent developments in Kosovo will stop Kosovo's membership procedures in the KiE.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Kressnik Ahmeti tells Kosovo that following the appointment of rapporteurs for Kosovo, at the next meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the situation of membership in this institution will be clearer.
However, he stresses that their lobby is for the membership process to go as quickly as possible, but always based on meritocracy and not on other issues that do not concern the Council of Europe.
Ahmeti adds that the process of membership in the Council of Europe concerns the criteria of democracy, justice and rule of law in which, according to him, Kosovo has tremendous progress in these areas.
Therefore, he says straining the situation in the north and reporting for EU austerity measures on Kosovo should not affect the Kosovo membership process in the KiE.
