NATO reminds Kosovo that it cannot take the KSF to the north: Obliging to Respect Agreement

Western Military Block, through spokeswoman Oana Lungescu, declared that “NATO takes events in northern Kosovo” very seriously and is taking all necessary measures to ensure a safe environment and freedom of movement for all communities”, as authorised by the UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
Lungescu wrote on Twitter about the obligations of Kosovo and Serbia, citing the agreement that prohibits the Kosovo Security Force from dislocation in the country's north without KFOR approval, the Express reported.
KFOR's commitment to implementing its mandate is steadfast, as indicated by the recent additional 500-strong deployment”.
“I once again recall all parties their obligations to KFOR under the Military Technical Agreement, including the respect of the administrative border, procedures for the Kosovo Police and the 2013 Kosovo Security Forces demarcation Agreement in north”, the NATO spokeswoman wrote.
These obligations, she said, have been created to ensure co-ordinated action, to avoid the + sustainability of safe environment”.
