Kurti in this interview has denied Washington and Brussels' charge that it was the Kosovo government that sparked tensions in northern Kosovo when it decided to send the mayors of four municipalities under police escort to their offices, the Express broadcasts.
As writes Suddeutsche Zeitung, Kurti has also accused Western partners of gullibility in dealing with Belgrade.
Kosovo Government Leader also for “Suddeutsche Zeitung” said it is “Prime Minister”.
This Kurti interview for the SZ comes after a series of international press writings in which Kurti is described as stubborn prime minister and texts that question Kosovo's friendships with allies.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti also in an earlier interview for the “The Guardian” had selected US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's statements as “naive”, following criticism that US Secretary Kurti had made to the Government following the decision to lead mayors to four northern municipalities.
I think it's not just unfair, wrong and hurtful, but at the same time too naive. Perhaps Secretary Blinken will explain this further one day, but it was definitely not useful”, Kurti said about Blinken's statements.
